MEET DAVID TANGIPA

David Tangipa is a San Joaquin Valley native. A proud, first-generation American and son of a veteran, David was born and raised in Sacramento and has lived his entire adult life in Fresno. He attended Fresno State and played tight end for the Bulldogs where he learned the importance of discipline, hard work, and spirit of the Central Valley.
After earning a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Criminology, as well as a master’s in Business Administration with an emphasis in marketing, David embarked on a career to help people live the American dream of owning a home.
He currently works in real estate for Modern Broker Inc and is the Field Representative for Fresno County Supervisor Nathan Magsig. David is passionate about serving his community and is involved with Fresno County Athletic Hall of Fame, Fresno State Bulldog Foundation, and Fresno State Football Alumni.
David is running for State Assembly to fight for common sense policies for our Central Valley and foothill communities.
In 2020, the Creek Fire burned over 800 structures; one of those being a family home. He and his family also lived through the Carr Fire and Kincade Fire.
These California megafires should not be the norm for our foothill communities. It is time for common sense to dictate our policies. Log it, Graze it, or Watch it Burn.
As our Assemblyman, David will also stand up against big government edicts and wasteful spending. He will fight against the degradation of local control, environmental lunacy and for affordable rural living.
He has personally worked on lawsuits to protect local control and vows to take the fight straight to Sacramento.
